JastiC- you should move to Germany
There are no road rules - except when the weather is not so nice you are to "use your discretion"
aka: you can do 220 on the Autobahn in the rain while blasting "99 Luftballoons" and the Polizei will pull you over only to give you a high five :toocool: |
so open speed on (what is essentially) a small proportion of roads is no road rules? Hardly.
Firstly I doubt this wit has the intellect to remember to drive on the right.
Secondly there are still road rules on the autobahn, if you get tail-ended and you're in the left lane you are in the wrong, i doubt this guy would bother looking in his rear-vision mirror so he wouldn't see the Jag/BMW/AMG up his arse. The Gerry's are really good with keeping out of the middle lane, come belting up behind them and they will move out for you, if they don't you flash your lights as you approach and they'll move quick smart, knowing they were at fault.
Thirdly, the Northern Territory used to have open speed limits (only reduced to 130 about a year ago), and that will change back to open limits after the next election when the Commisioner will be voted out (belive it or not the speed limits are actually an election issue up there)
Finally, this is the type of intellect we're talking about

and yes I have driven the autobahns and hit VMax in the hire car I had (poor car copped a flogging when I had to get back to Frankfurt to catch a train, cut that one a little close). I've also driven the 'Ring (not in the hire car obviously).
Hey dip, why not take advantage of trackdays? Then you can go balls out in a safe environment where you won't wipe out some innocent person when you up. You enjoy your car without putting other people at risk. |
