Apparat - Walls

Recently I downloaded Apparat - Walls to try out. I thought it was brilliant and have bought it for the collection.
I also really like Nathan Fake - Drowning in a Sea of Love and
Ellien & Apparats - Orchestra of Bubbles is good as well.
Based on these, what other albums would you recommend I listen to. Preferably fairly recent stuff.
Its the more uplifting tunes on these albums I like if that helps. |

'Walls' is great. Apparat rocks live too.
Try Four Tet - particularly 'Pause' and 'Rounds' are really good.
Talvekoidik makes nice IDM/downtempo stuff as well (just don't expect any vocals).
I'll think about it and maybe post some more later. The artists you mentioned have fairly unique sound so it's quite hard to find anything similar.
EDIT: Oh, how could I forget Telefon Tel Aviv - they make wonderful music. One of the guys even made mastering on 'Walls', I think. |
