what happened to Bar Rio?

| does anyone know what happened to Bar Rio in houston? how come all the gigs are being promoted elsewhere like to rich's or level. i mean just last year every single dj used to go to bar rio! some internal politics? |

| Show will continue at Bar Rio still. 2 different promoters from Rich's and Bar Rio. But a cut and dry way to put it is club level holds 400 to 500 people and is packes as hell. Bar Rio holds 2500 to 4500 people. Were doing shows better so some dj's that really bring a lot of people but not 3000 a lot can still have a great show and not look like a ghost town. We have a show coming up in April at Bar Rio to let you know. |

I heard the same thing from one of the 77002 staff. but club level sucks, and so does rich's.. i talk about bar rio, but to be honest, mark farina at rio > x 10 mark farina at level.. even though it wasn't packed last year still there was plenty of room to move your feet as you please.. besides i am just not into the houston downtown scene, from parking to waiting in line to all the posers inside! |

Werd man, the posers that go to these shows to look pretty,go there because its the "trendy" thing to do and get vip to stand on stage and not move a wink when the dance floor is on wheels. If only I owned a club, those wankers would get denied @ the door.
