| Sharam gets 2 threads with 900 views combined and this gets 44? Sharam costs $25, this costs $7. Yet I'm the one who needs to go out and "support" Sharam. Come on people! |

| Have fun dancing with Jimmy and the bouncer lol...pretend like I'm there in spirit! What a shame. Oh well, I'm sure you'll have a great time and I hope he lays it down for Tampa. |

DECIMATION :whip: :eyes:
Strait up TECHNO for 2.5 hours from Jimmy. No minimal just techno bombs. They had the sound turned up tonight too. Nice full crowd but the floor was open.
Habs24_7 was the birthday girl... HAPPY BDAY... free fishbowl FTW.
LONG LIVE HYDE PARK CAFE!!! :tongue3
Thanks Matty for hooked us up in the VIP line. ;)
Jimmy closed with an 80's Underworld track.... :wtf: |

so jimmy was good then? i saw him do a 3 hour opening set for sasha at space i think dec of 2006. and i vowed id never see jimmy van m again. he was so terrible i ended up only staying for like an hour of sashas set because the night got so ruined.
glad you had fun then. maybe jimmy is a bit better these days. |

Not sure how he is as an opener but he banged it out proper with some peak hour techno for over 2 hours. Not one track IDed from me.
Again, where were all the Sharam peeps for this?!   |

I formed this same opinion as well after seeing Jimmy open for Digweed at the Groove in Orlando many years ago. What was even more boring to me was the opener for Jimmy that night. Thank goodness we had somewhere to sit until Digweed came on. |

| Just so you all know... JVM is known for being a Sasha and Digweed opener... To me he is still an opening DJ even when he headlines. I am sure that HPC was fun for this bc it was a Saturday night at HPC. It is hard not make it a fun night when going there with friends... |

| There was no "opening DJ" elements to his set, bottom line. He killed it headliner style for over 2 hours. Plus I'd choose HPC over Czar any day. |

this is exactly why i didnt go. i got such a bland impression of jvm when he opened for paul oakenfold years ago. make me wonder ... when you hear someone play awesome, yet suck as an opener for a bigger act, is it because of politics? |
