First off you shouldn't be touching your ear drums they are delicate.
You may have damaged your ear drum.
Which has perhaps caused a leak of not so nice fluids.. perhaps it is sinosis or sinocitis.. or whatever the heck it is called.
Go to a clinic man. Hopefully you have universal health care where you are.
At the least it is an infection and you'll be put on antibiotics.. but if it is a damaged ear canal.. get it checked right away.. cause it is actually a life threatening situation.

Holy crap do NOT listen to this moron, lol.
The ears, nose, and throat are all interrelated. It's not surprising that you have a sore throat if you have an ear infection....your glands get swollen and put pressure on the surrounding structures.
Take some ibuprofen and go see a doc about your ears, then your sore throat will go away. |

Alright, alright, I'm not ignoring the doctor request, but is there some sort of over the counter droplet thing I could buy at Walgreens that could perhaps cure this? |
Cure it? no.
It's an ear infection. Go to the doctor asap. They'll give you a prescription for amoxicillin and you'll be fine in a couple days. Until then, sleep on that ear (let it drain), try to avoid running around or listening to anything loud. It's not life threatening, your hearing probably isn't at risk, though it hurts like a bitch, and is just going to get worse. If you wait long enough, your ear drum could rupture, leaving you with scarring & some hearing loss. In the mean time, bed, ibuprofen, & sleep on that side. |

Thanks for the advice. I'm getting nervous with replies ranging from "oh just sleep on it" to "GET THIS TAKEN CARE OF NOW, ITS LIFE THREATENING." I'll set up a doc appt. tomorrow.

Also if you didn't know you arn't suppose to clean the inside of your ears out with those cuetips just the outside of your ears.. the wax naturally cleans itself to the outside don't put anything deep into your ear canal
Here is an interesting article on the dangers of cleaning ones inner ears.

you clearly know nothing about the human body. If you did, your hair wouldn't look like fescue. |

In all my years in medicaine I have never heard of such a complex case. You have a very rare condition that is known as being a hypochondriac (whinyus-bitchus). Take two man testicles and suck them up. |
For all the fancy words and google searches... who was right? Eh? :p |

Yeah, and if you knew anything about the human body and pathophysiology, you'd know that sore ears and sore throats are often related. |

I am a doctor of divinity.. not a medical doctor. And ear infections can be life threatening. Damaged ear canals very much so.. the longer he sits on it the greater the chance of permanent hearing loss or even death.
