I am staying up all night learning info I only need to know until 12 noon because I'm going to some grade 4 class and teaching them about science stuff at 8AM, and I'm dead tired, and I just wiped my roommate's off the lid so that I could take my own , which sucks because I'm a germophobe, and I have a lot of other work due in the next 5 weeks, and I've been eating mostly junk for the past 6 months and feel like crap because of it, and I can't wait until I can get out of this ty house by the end of April, and oh yeah the shower/tub is filthy as hell and there's no way I'm cleaning it up again since it ain't my filth, and so yea, I will sit here and read this stuff for the 8AM thing while sipping on Coke Zero and eating Dill Pickle Crispers that are expired and stale as .
That is all. |

Just make up random science facts and make a straight face while you say them.
Everyone will believe you, ffs they are like 6 years old. |

It's not like that. It's some huge project thing, 4th year running. We have to go through this protocol and stuff. I'm presenting with someone else. There's people presenting in every class at the same time, it's pretty huge.
btw they're 10, and I hear they can throw curveball questions that you wouldn't expect. All I need is a lil' background info (which I'll get from reading the booklet in a sec), and I can bull away. The kids won't know.:D |

bugger that, I don't bother studying when I gotta teach uni undergrads, you don't need to study for year 4's.
You can do the most basic stuff for year 4's and you don't need to know every detail. |

Pull two kids up to the front and hand them each a test tube, one filled with water, the other with rubbing alcohol....it works best if you get the biggest and smallest kids together. Give them each a piece of rock salt and have them race to dissolve it, giving the big kid the alcohol-filled tube. The salt won't dissolve in alcohol, leaqding to gasps of amazement as the little kid wins the prize. Then make some little speech about chemistry and collect your fee.
You're welcome. |
