Can I give you like...20 bucks to make a track FOR me?

I have to kind of disagree with this one. If someone isn't talented enough to produce something worthwhile, why would you want to go out of your way to help them get something released anyway? Making a statement is good, but that statement shouldn't be "I'm a producer, and after two failed attempts of my own, someone else helped me produce something slightly less ty so I could "get my name out there"".

Excellent, my first TA tiff...my helmet is fastened and ready for intellectual combat...but this is a rather simple "issue"..if you want to even call it that...

To start, you're profoundly mistaken to violently assume all the events that transpired between myself and the label...and they were not "failed attempts"..simply incompatible with a set of expectations that differs from label to label (that much I know)....no one held my hand throughout the process or sat next to me for three days...I am the only one who took and continues to take pride in authorship...a simple "take the snare out at 2 min" is really more of an opinion/suggestion, as people often give on this forum, rather than the label manager hijacking the track. To be honest with you, I am really honored and thankful for the time and effort AL (Seneca) has given to me, and it has helped provide me with a clearer perspective on production. Also, forgive me for being outrageously inmodest, but I consider myself a few notches above ""...listen to the tracks for yourself..not bad for a years worth of production. Lastly I want to hear your tracks...all of them in periodic order so I can be rightfully judgmental in your efforts. Thanks for "opinion"!.

Cheers,
Nick

I never mentioned your name, nor have I heard any of your tracks. The post was addressed to Seneca, who happens to be a friend of mine.

I'm all for giving new producers a chance, but I disagree with the idea that even those who aren't ready to be signed should be coached in some way in order to get signed. The market is already flooded with enough garbage, and I think it will taint the name of his label to release "good enough" tracks which the producers were coached through.

i hear that new Stoynoff is going to be the next 'Heater', straight to #1

it's not the way you think it is here... it's when you know someone has/is talented and you cultivate that talent. And I'd say I've been pretty successful at doing just that so far.
