Hey, DJ Tranceformer, you stole my gear!
Just kidding. Nice setup! I've got the exact same everything. (The blue Ortofon's kick ass, don't they!)
So how much is the Pioneer EFX-500, and where r u buying from?
Also, how tall is the table holding your equipment? I'm worried that the table I'm using is too short. It's causing me fatigue after an hour or so of mixing. :( |

wow cool... sweet setup... I got a question!
You had a stanton RM3S before if I remember - which I have now... I like it, but it's also the only mixer i've really used more than a day or two here and there ...
The PCV275 is very similiar in features... but my question: how does the PCV275 compare to the RM3S (as far as the faders, eq, quality, etc) ???
I'd like to hear what you think of the PCV275 vs the RM3S :)
TIA,

They all come back to the good ol' PCV-275 :)
Anyway, nice gear, get something to cover your mixer when you are not using it, it gets dust real fast.
EDIT:
I Wouldnt put the volium faders so high if I were you...
Unless you are using flat EQ, try to avoid passing the +3 DB meter. |

Sure did, but I said that i was gonna return it. The thing that i didn't like about it was the faders and it doesn't have a DB meter for the CUE CH. Faders on rm3s kindda suck because you just bring it a little bit up, and the sound is already pretty loud (for liike 3 bars) On Vestax it's much better. Faders on rm3s wear out much quicker than they do on Vestax mixers(the PCV, not PMC) Stanton = 10,000 pases; Vestax = 2,000,000 pases:)
Also Vestax has better and smoother EQs IMO, and it has 2 outputs for your headphones, one on the side and one in the same place that RM3s has it. Well that's pretty much it, hope this answers your question.
One more thing is that Vestax is better than Stanton:) |

Im gonna get it on eBay for about US$300
And yes, the whole set up is amazing, not only the carts:)
I belive that my table is 72 CMs, which is a regular height of this kindda tables. It's pretty small for me, but I can't do anything, i'm just gonna put something underneath it so it will be a little bit taller.
PS. Pain in the neck sux, I feel what ur saying, when i started out, my neck was killing me after like 20 mins, now I got used to it i guess... |

happens man:p
I like to put them all the way up, but in the same time I just keep the master output level pretty low, so it's always at like 0 db or lower, but not when i took that pic, lol |
