he looks strangely russian. like one of those derranged russians that were born here to parents fresh off the boat, or moved here when they were like 5 and have misconceptions about belonging, feel embarrassed by their parents being "different", and lack overall mental capacity to understand just how valuable it is to be russian.
so instead of finding their own identity, or discovering the many russian communities that are probably a few miles away, they hook up with some random hoodlums in the poor neighborhood they first moved into (no one that comes here lives lavishly at first). and adopt the "gangster" culture to fit in.
all the foreigners here know exactly what i'm talking about. i believe "douchebag" is the proper term, tho. |
