Ya I just heard about that a few weeks ago!!

It was craaaaazy before... my cousin came here for the summer in 2005 and she went through a crazy ordeal trying to get her papers together... and she only got it because she was a student and they knew she wasn't planning on staying. My aunt and uncle couldn't get the VISA to come here for a wedding. madness

We're thinking of flying in my Babcia Klara... she's 82 and she walks faster than I do

Peter we should get our Babcias together for a pierogi/barszcz extravaganza LOL

my passport:

Citizenship- Canadian
Born in- Poland
Issued in- Vienna

long and complicated story that will one day be a bestseller

I have 2 passports though... and I'm a dual citizen.
When I'm travelling and meet new people, I have a hard time answering the very common question "where are you from?" lol

you lost your passport in Vienna? hehehehe crazy stress.

When people ask where I'm from, I say Montreal. Canada is too vague.

je suis tres impresionnee
It was 100% more complicated than that... honestly on par with the Amazing Race lol
I couldn't even enjoy that amazingly exquisite city b/c I was so stressed out

I usually say "born in Poland, live in Canada" ... then come all the questions/stereotypes... do you have a beaver? do you get to school via canoe? Is your middle name kielbasa? Do you know JANUSZ and MAGDA from Wroclaw?? lol
