well then, i guess i'll have to try and sneak by, if the "bouncers" ;) don't let me past, i'll go to the library. surprisingly, museums have the worst security, i'm sure it'll be no problem. |

i don't think the entire museum will be open for this?
Not exactly sure when it closes. I imagine it would only be the Rose Center open.
I will tell u after this weekend but I know I will prob plan on going to these parties every month!
Especially since this show sold out a week before the party. |

So yeah.. waited too late. Didn't secure any tickets for myself. Doh!
I went to the planetarium today to try and find out if I could pick up any tickets in person or if they'd be selling at the door and after getting owned by the security guards about not looking old enough to attend the event, I spoke to the people selling tickets.
Soon as I mentioned One Step Beyond, they started bugging out over how awesome the last show was and how they had to lock people out as they'd surpassed the planetarium's limit. They told me it's sold out ONLINE but that I should still come really early to try and buy tickets at the door because it'll be worth it. Even started going on about some amazing surprise guests but wouldn't tell me who...
The actual planetarium space looks MUCH bigger than in the pictures. The place looked pretty awesome from the vantage point of the lobby. Looks like it'll be an event to remember. They said sometimes doors open as early as 8:30 so I'll be there way before that. Jeez... haven't arrived early to an event in years :eyespop: |

ARRRRRRRRRRGH! Sooooooooo many ppl are requesting tickets for this event on craiglist. I check it every day only to see more and mroe being posted. [I was thinking I should have bought more to sell for profit! haha 50$ a piece on a 20$ ticket!!]
Ppl are desperate for tickets for this party. You better get there waay early cuz I'm sure u won't be the only one! :kicks u::whip:

Believe me I'm kicking myself really hard for this one. I just figured it was only Simian Mobile Disco, not Daft Punk so I didn't think I'd really have to worry about it being sold out. Apparently the draw of it being inside the space center is bigger than I thought. I'll be there EARLY.
Also, since it is an early event I figured I should mention that Adam Freeland will be spinning afterwards at Le Royale (21 7th Ave South at Leroy (two blocks north of Houston).Doors 10.30pm. 21+ w/I.D.). Admission is cheap at $10 here . Might head there afterwards, assuming i can get into OSB lol.. |
