Same here. I'll be pushing time. My last final exam ends at 5pm. AFter that, I need to dodge traffic, change, eat, and then head straight to the saucer. I think I'll probably end up getting there around 8ish...if not 9.

so is whoever getting there first going to reserver a table/section for all the TX TAs?

Listen up.

The person arriving at the flying saucer first; ask for Christian (tall, dark hair, italian guy), and tell him that you are reserving a table for Carlos at Authentic Beverage. Please do it. We'll get a better chance at getting a table than anybody else there.

If you recall the last time for Above & Beyond, we got a table in the banquet room because he knew me, but it's been a while and this guy knows all of Houston, so it's best you mention "Authentic Beverage"...that way we get a good table for everyone.

die.

can you call and ask to reserve a table or section?
i have a flying saucer behind my house and it is kinda small.

thing is, alot of people book tables in advance. That's how popular this particualr fying saucer is, and that's how packed it gets. Last year when we met up during A&B, it was only half full, and people were cramming. It's usually around this time that the saucer gets shoulder to shoulder, and takes nearly half an hour to order a drink.

I'll go ahead and call Christian tomorrow, but I can't promise we'll have anything reserved. I can't promise that he'll reserve for anyone showing up at FS on Friday either. It really depends on how slammed they get. It's deifnitely worth a shot though.
