What the is with Montreal and Boston playing games 2 and 3 back to back? Um...travel day? That isn't fair to either team. The NHL scheduling in the regular season and playoffs is mind boggling.
Since there is no playoff pool thread, my picks are as such.
Montreal over Boston in 5.
Penguins over Sens in 6.
Capitals over Flyers in 6.
Rangers over Devils in 7.
Detroit over Predators in 5
Sharks over Flames in 5
Avalanche over Wild in 6

What a goal by Kovalev! Boston just can't beat Montreal, no matter how well they play or how bad Montreal play.
Anybody who has the HNIC feed happen to hear Don Cherry's whining after the game? What a ing old wind bag he can be sometimes. It was clearly a trip and since ING WHEN did they call high sticks on a follow through from a shot or pass? Give me a break Grapes...your Boston bias is clearly showing and MaClean schooled your senile ass once again! |
