listened, and loved. great set....awesome opening, great tracks, overall great feel to it.
i like how i can hear the same tracks in various mixes by different TAs and get a different vibe/sound from them. overall chill theme to this set...great stuff man |

Glad you liked the mix mate.
As for the descrptions, I don't really see it as taking anything away from the mix or making it too complicated. When I contruct my mixes there's a certain reason why I put any track in, I don't just throw them together so I was just giving a short explanation as to how it ended up in it :)

That was the point of the mix, to have a nice chilled house mix but still with plenty of groove and drive to it :) I also couldn't think of a better song to kick it off with besides Thin White Duke's remix of amazing :) |

I like the descriptions, shows intent and purpose.
Perhaps to apease (sp?) those who don't like them you could just have a listing underneath with the tracklisting only? |

Honestly didn't think much of this song at first but definitely has grown on me, I thought it fit in well to slowly progress the mix.

I have been digging this track as well since i heard it played on ASOT a while back. for me, the first time i heard this track the vocal threw me off a bit, it was strange, but i grew to love it.
definately downloading this, i do enjoy this style a lot. thanks for posting! |

Yeah to be honest it took awhile before I grew to really like it, first time I heard it I was skeptical about it but definitely a great tune.

| Realnice mix man, some of the mixes seemed a bit sudden... I'm being pick, but its something to work on. Really like the track selection, except Icould really do without the vocals on the last track... it kinda killed the mix for me. |

Wow great mix!!
I loved it almost all the way through. I had never really listened to that mix of Helsinki Scorchin before, and it was freaking great. I think it fit really well with the rest of the tracks.
I was also kind of scared about a track with a harmonica in it at first... but that turned out to be awesome as well. Thats the first dance music track that i have heard that could effectively use a harmonica.
overall i loved it, and those two tracks i mentioned above for some reason made me enjoy the mix the most. those were the highlights for me. Oh yeah and solid mixing of course.
the only downside for me was the second glenn morrison track. for some reason this track didn't really do it for me. i think the melody notation is fine, but i didn't really like the instrument that the producer uses to make it sound the way it does. just an opinion though.

The finishing track was a bit of a mood change as apposed to the rest of the mix but it's something I just wanted to do :) Thanks for checking it out.

Thanks for the kind words mate.
One thing I have noticed after listening back to it a few times is that the gain is a bit low on Long Distance compared to the other songs but there's not much I can do about it now. The remix of Helsinki Scorchin' is a great one, definitely tops the Alex Morph remix for me which is the one I had grown fond of.
