I'll have to be honest, not their best work, but I don't mind the track. It's also on a really good record label at the moment, that's been releasing some solid stuff, but this disappoints a bit.

"Hispaniola" is terrific, "Jamaica" is ing awful. It sounds like they said "Hey, let's go make the most generic sounding "Minilogue" track possible.

+1, Hispaniola is kinda cool and Jamaica sounds like Ross Geller music.
The track doesn't really go anywhere but I think it would make for a very good filler. I like tracks like this where I know it will be easy and safe to mix last second into something else and just let it ride while I go digging through my records for an absolute bomb to mix in next. :)

"Jamaica" is nothing special but "Hispaniola" sounds like the EDM equivalent of Boards of Canada, or even brings to mind Sasha's "Drempels" (the first track of "airdrawndagger") on a 4/4 beat. I like the resonating moogy synth so yeah its cool! All in all nothing really special though.

Both are interresting in their own way, but nothing to go wild about. Enjoyable, but i doubt that i will remember them for too long.
