for once, close to it. But losing the 'amirite' crap would help the cause

fernando torres is an exceptional talent & i've been seeing him in la liga since he was 18 so it's no surprise he's doing so well now at a team which create more chances than he got at Atletico. alongside david villa & Raúl Tamudo, the most natural spanish finisher since Raúl Gonzalez burst onto our screens... and soon to follow in their footsteps, Bojan Krkic of FC Barca.

Well, you can just post a picture & a witty catchphrase which is pretty much typical of 2005, or you can give some substance to your threads, use some knowledge and enlighten the world a little bit. amIrite?

:stongue: :stongue: did you ever see Jan Molby? used to play for liverpool, danish midfielder.. he somehow picked up the scouse accent into his own voice during his stay there, it was pretty ing funny. instead of the "A....... U" it'll be "Qué..... tu"

Absolutely outstanding player at a mediocre club (and I'm not talking history, so back off, I';m talking potential) where he will never win a single trophy (maybe a fluke League cup three years down the line).

Yes, Liver is doing better than Atletico ever did when he was there, but he, like Berbatov needs to play at a bigger club that will actually win something in the near future. Not that bigger clubs are necessarily better for him, but if he wants trophies he's at the absolute wrong place. Spurs and Portsmouth will win a trophy this year, how much worse can it get/

Yeah, stay at a team which have won 1 league title in the past 20 years, and no silverware for one which has won the european cup 5 times, been in 2 of the last 3 finals and possibly making it 3 of the last 4. Atletico are renowned for never achieving anything, even with forlan, aguero, reyes, luis garcia, pablo, antonio lopez, motta, raúl garcia, mista, cleber santana and the like, they're inconsistent.

Liverpool are close, and I mean a 2nd prolific striker and a right winger off being a serious title contender. Rafa is getting there and if given 1 more season and a budget to buy both of those players, could break into the top 2. Players like Agger, Lucas, Babel and Torres will only continue to improve.
