| I watched the first video and a little bit of the second, I don't get what you're talking about... please explain. |

| Yeah, I'm having trouble figuring out what you mean as well. Please explain, or atleast tell us what point we should be looking at in each video. |

I think he means cueing the track between phrases, rather than starting it on the start of a phrase.
I do it occasionally (cue up the 3rd beat rather than the 1st for example) if I'm not sure exactly when a build-up's gonna drop or something, or if the track I'm mixing in has an awkward intro and it just works out better that way...
But the fact that he does it for every mix in this video makes me think the video's just out of sync with the audio ;) |

I thought that was weird too, but you're probably right that its just out of sync. Who knows though.
I never watch videos of DJ's mixing that are from such a good perspective. It was kinda fun/funny at the same time. |

So simple, yet I never thought of doing this  Cheers Stu - I can now laugh in the face of dodgy intros!! :D |

Anyone got an ID on the first tune in the first video? It's great.
That camera work is so funny, is there even a crowd behind the camera there? All you can see is the booth, it may as well be Paul's bedroom! |

| I think it was just a radiostation that had a big room where he set up a booth, i think if oyu notice that device he picked up on the corner of his turntable was probably a recording device and the dude behind him was the radio person |

From the first video:
Marcos - Just For A Day (Marc Van Linden Remix)
Lingen And Moore - Passion (Robert Nickson Vocal) |

I don't think it's out of sync, because if you watch the levels you can see it's in time perfectly with the beat.
And yes, Stu is correct, it is the cueing between phrases that puzzles me....... |
