Who does the background effects, and essentially all of the song besides the vocals? I noticed after hearing it played around me by others that some of the effects are kinda neat and it doesn't sound like the work of one of the standard pop music composers, but rather someone more talented in the electronic composing department...what do you think? Please don't automatically give all anti-pop stuff, this has happened to me before, I dont' like pop either but I'm looking for some constructive info about the song...thanks!

uhm.... no doubt isn't some cheap manufactured pop group like n'sync or the backstreet boys, =P... they're a band, and hence, they write/play their own music as far as i know... i mean, they've been doing it for years, so if they did get someone else to produce "hey baby", it'll be a first.

I like the song. I think it was a good move in the right direction for them. I also like that song Hella Good.
