It's an all day music event featuring over 40 bands and DJs. It used to take place on the streets in between bars and restaurants in Arlington, VA. Now it's grown so huge that it takes place at the old RFK Stadium in Washington DC.
I got my tickets for this when they first went on sale back in late January. Only 10 bands were confirmed, but ShamrockFest is so much fun, I don't care who's playing.
Lineups includes:
Street Dogs
Carbon Leaf
Mr. Greengene
Paul Oakenfold :)
The Tossers
and so many more.
oh yes and beer@! lots of beer! I'm so pumped. We'll be leaving around 12 and take the metro downtown.
