I like a bit of rock every now and then and I really dig these guys. They have a new concert CD/DVD out on the 22nd of March and I don't know whether to get it. It is of their Wembley Park concert. Has anyone heard anything about it?

I dunno about the CD but I love these guys

You have probably only heard the J00F remix too. :p

Great band, loved them for years.

Someone with some skill really, really needs to do a decent remix of Bliss.

I tried doing one but it was rubbish of course.
KilldaDJ
them live at the zenith a few years ago was top notch!

bliss doesn't need a remix, it's just too good to be ed around with by nearly all of the edm producers that exist! The only muse remix that is any good really, is the soulwax remix of muscle museum, and that changed very little of it in order to be successful.

Muse are great, the new dvd is from their wembley concert last june & is a must own. Live, they're the best british band, and one of the best in the world, winning many awards for it. For some live tracks & rare demos, check out www.muse-download.com

CDon.com promises to ship it on the 19th. This is a must-get for me as I missed their gig in Helsinki and still hate myself for it.

I'm not much of a fan of Muse in general: I find them a bit wanky and stiff. It always amuses me when the riff to Plug In Baby comes on somewhere to look at the reactions of the Muse fans.

One track I did really like though was Supermassive Black Hole. It didn't seem as serious as their other stuff and had a really good, thunderous groove to it.

going by the album versions, map of the problematique is strong, but surprisingly comes across less well live, as for that, Starlight really blows you away, I was surprised just how much, I mean I like it but I'd always considered knights of cydonia, map of the problematique and supermassive black hole to be the strongest 3 tunes off the album, but starlight, assassin & take a bow when live really blow them away, with only cydonia on a par.

I'd just say as far as plug in baby goes, see it live. Newborn live also absolutely goes off. Surprisingly, bliss isn't AS good live, unless you're lucky enough to get the version with the piano in or it played on keyboard, when played on the guitar it's good but not as much as with a piano.
