| armin at tobacco warehouse was the best outdoor event i've been to...mccaren park and central park events leave much to be desired. if he's inside i might go if he's outside i'm not going |

like where? i'm not really a pvd fan so i'm willing to go far out into long island for a beach party. if they have it at morningside park i could go ;) |

lol would be a great location right haha
I am not sure about what location I would have to look around. there needs to be more room, better location and better tracks for it to be good this year. |

the best outdoor dance party the past two years has been festivus, which is held at the great hill. of course, expanding the event to involve the pvds and tiestos of the world would ruin its laid back (and free) atmosphere.
other locations for a large-ish outdoor dance event could be:
north meadow
prospect park bandshell [bk]
asser levy park [bk]
baker field in inwood hill park [mnhtn]
cunningham park [qu]
the illest location, which would never receive approval, is governors island.
at the end of the day if the dj is spinning a dope set it wouldn't matter if it were held in a sandlot. however, when a party has become lame and touristy -- and the dj has clearly grown bored of playing there -- something's gotta give. |
