there's no such thing as a quick buck when you're investing. |

I use RBC Direct Investing. I am quite happy with it.
RBC Direct, TD, and E*Trade Canada are your biggest and give you the most options as to where you can trade. There are a couple other online brokerages that will have cheaper trades but your options as to which exchanges you can trade on are very limited. You should do your due diligence and look into RBC, TD, and E*Trade and see which one is the best fit for you. |

Thanks for the info. I'm going to look into those and compare I guess. I think RBC might offer free trades as well downtown. I'm going to ask around about that. Maybe even E*Trade offers free trades as well!
PS. Can anyone help me with the VISA IPO? I need to get some for some 'insurance' purposes lol |

Visa was up 28% today. I don't think it's going anywhere. |

| Oh, my advice is not to take investment advice from an electronic music discussion board, with the exception of this post, I guess. |

Why? Mastercard went public a few years ago and the stock is up 400%. Visa's got a ton going for it. I'm curious why you think it's overvalued, especially in the current market. |

I believe its just priced high because of all the attention its getting from everyone since the IPO, I expect it to perhaps die down a bit in a few weeks then maybe I might purchase it. |
