Have you ever taken a minute to think how big the universe is? I mean for ever grain of sand in the Sahara Desert there are 1 million stars. Just think how big that universe is, and then there is us, Earth. OMG doesnt that make u feel at all weird? And where does the universe stop? does it keep going? just for a second try and imagine the edge of the universe. I dont no about u but i get a weird feeling in my head when i try and think about these questions. And how the hell did we get here? before us there was a nothing but matter, but what was there before that, and what was there before that, and at what stage was there nothing at all. What exactly was "nothing" ? Basically, what im trying to say is that its ing great to be alive :D :D :D :D

Examine the following picture, taken from the Hubble space telescope:
Notice the green eye staring at you. Why do you think it's there? What do you think it's looking at? Could this be some form of sentient intelligence? Or is simply a star located in the center of a ringed nebula?
Here's another interesting picture taken also from the Hubble telescope:
Notice the nebulous appearance of an entity's face? Who do you think this entity is? What is his purpose? Can we communicate with this being? Or is this simply another instance of anthropomorphized perception?
Now look at this picture, again taken from the Hubble:
Here we have an infrared shot of galaxies located at the edge of our observable universe, approximately 12 billion light-years away! We can only speculate what lies beyond this.
So many questions, so many theories...much answered, so much left unanswered.
And so man continues his abiding quest for the pursuit of knowledge and truth, both in the cosmos and in his very own mind. What shall he discover next? Only time will tell. Until then the trance music carries on... |

Lol, some of our Physics lessons about all this stuff, like Astrophysics i think its called, is sooo weird, like some of the stuff they are teaching else
Example
All the matter in the universe was once at one single point!?! Also this matter had,.... wait for it, this is one of the best,.... infinite density, infinite Temp but no size:conf: , now for me thats a kinda hard to imagine!
To answer your question about how big the universe is, according to physics, its actually still expanding - the big bang theory which happened 13 million years ago, which sent the universe spreading out, is still happenin, ie, the universe is still flying outwards from the explosion!!
:( :( See why i say its a flipin waste of time to go to skool, flip if they are trying to teach us stuff like that
finally too nice points for you to wonder over about black holes if ya know what they are
1. As a black hole is approached, time slows down relative to that of distant observers, stopping completely on the Horizon!!
2. It is suggested that a black hole can collapse to a singularity - which is a dimensionless object of infinite density!!!
They just love that infinite density thing dont they!

| Life eh , that small word that means so much. For me life is like a box of chocolates , you never know what ya ganna get. |milk you need to get yours balls reattached and get some nice hooters to go and chew on. I love going out drinking and getting smahed, it may sound boring but i love it , work can sometimes go really slow and depressing but hey you have to earn beer tokens in some way. if you dont like you life kill yourself , coz ure depressing me with your bollox. |

I guess my life is OK.I get good grades,I have a lot of friends,when I'm down,the music always gets me on my feet again,and people like me the way I am.And of course I've got you guys.;)
But for some reason,all the girls I've met don't think I'm handsome or good looking enough.(Kinda strange,I do consider myself to be quite decent looking,and a lot of uglier guys than me have GFs.But then again,that's not for me to decide.)Hence,I really do miss a GF and all the joy that brings.(but that's only because people seemingly ALWAYS have to eat each others tongue right in my face all the time:mad:.If it hadn't been for that it wouldn't bother me that much.)Also,I wish I had a job and got a bit more independant economically.That's my biggest worry right now.
But all in all,I can't complain.Glad to see that somebody can REALLY be happy about their lives.I haven't been that for a long time. |
