Packing out a coffin case

I am looking at getting a coffin case for my gear (Vestax VMC-004 FX and 2x CDJ 200, am getting a laptop in a few weeks and will be adding that aswell) and have two options at the moment:
- Pioneer RC 2 at AU$400

OR
- A larger case made to fit CDJ 1000s but it also has a laptop shelf that folds out it costs AU$326.

I was thinking I could just go down to the foam and rubber store down the road and get something to fill out that space in the bigger case, what do you think? |

| The coffin with the roll out laptop stand is cool, but it says it will come off if its rolled back too far... |
