| I've been on this hunt for about a year for a VST that offers fantastic sounding pads. I really like the ones FL Studio offers but its sequencing and pitch SUCKS! What are some good VSTs or Plugins that offer excellent warm sounding Pads. (if it helps, all the pads on an Anjunabeats song are my favorites) |

Spectrasonics Atmosphere - it's a pad machine.
reFX Nexus with the Stratosphere expansion is another good choice. |

Also samples can be worked into tracks really well. Since pads are often really complex a good sample can sound ing sick. Pretty sure Icone used samples in his remix of "Tears of Blue" and they are some of the most gorgeous pads I've EVER heard.

| Seriously guys. Everyone check those ing pads out now. They are mind blowing. It's unreal the depth they have. Sicness. |

Yeah but they make air chorus pads like that...in fact there's a standard one just like in FL Studio...
but that is an excellent pad |

i'm pretty sure that's just a couple of atmosphere or nexus presets layered together. |

I think youre right, with enough EQing and reverb depth positioning, its def possible |

I kind of like synthesizing my own pads, even if they're less silky-smooth than the ones you can get out of those fancy romplers.

| Oh, and you can make nice-sounding, complex pads with just about any VST, as long as you're willing to do some layering. |

Hey guys, cheers for mentioning my remix there :)
In fact, you can make good sounding pads with a lot of instruments other than Atmosphere; Pro53, FM7, Albino3, Hypersonic 2 (I use it a lot to layer choir samples), z3ta...
I hardly use NeXus for that purposes as it leaves less freedom to create your own sounds/effects on them.
Let me know if you want some examples/presets. |

icone if you can find the time that would be cool,
I mainly use my Old Sy85 for pad's etc it's pretty good for that kind of stuff. |
