I don't know if it was because I was tired or what, but I was just not feeling most of the music. I did however really enjoy Boysnoize and SVD. The Drink had it's moments as well.

I was really looking forward to Infected Mushroom but was very disappointed. I don't know if their set at Freedom was alot better or if their live act novelty has just worn off on me. Most of the songs seemed the same to me. It felt like the same 10-15 minutes repeated.

Props to Team Canada for finishing with a Sesame St remix (video to come). Good on DJ AM for playing Daft Punk but boy was his set ever filled with . Lipps Inc?? Dead or Alive?? Come on. If I wanted retro I'd check out Velvet Underground.

Glad to FINALLY see Jelo. He was tearing up the orange room. Looking forward to seeing him again.

Had fun hanging out with Stefan, Vince, Daroza and Barb (and the others that were brief encounters).

As usual, I'll have videos up by roughly Tuesday. Got a 3 minute clip of "King of my Castle" ;)

p.s. - did Exacta finish right at 3AM in the drink as scheduled and then Greg Gow followed? - just wondering for Video ID purposes. Seems like their set times were really ed up last night as roaches were supposed to follow exacta.

p.p.s. - got a flyer for freedom on my way out. HUGE lineup. wow. It's all I could think about on the walk to my car (Vince can confirm to this as I tripped over a cement block, lol). Nice to see Guv not waiting until 3 weeks before the event like many other events lately.

edit: almost forgot to mention that it was awesome to finally meet the man - del/swamper. LOL at the first thing he says to me after the usual 'hey, how's it going' ....

SICK! I'd love to see him again. I might not be able to make either which kinda sucks.

, feel the pain we have in SF....

April 25

Event One: Sasha & Digweed (Spundae Event)
Event Two: Danny Tenaglia
Event Three: Booka Shade & M.A.N.D.Y.

But it should all work out as the S&D night ends at 2am (the venue it's at is a major concert venue and flat out closes at 2am), Booka Shade & M.A.N.D.Y. will prob end between 4am-5am and that's when Danny Tenaglia should really just start getting into it....I imagine he'll be doing his usual 12 hour set here from midnight-ish to noon-ish.

Insane Night

Then in May 9 we have Christopher Lawrence & J00F (Spundae Event) and the next night AvB and Remy (Spundae event)

Events coming up in SF are looking insane. I am usually jealous of Toronto's scene overall...and prob still am, lol.
