| I can't really say I have ever had one of these headaches. Maybe once, but I was able to 'deal' with it, but not well. Sucks for those of you that get these or even migranes on the regular. Just don't become pill poppers. I know a couple of ladies that pop advil/tylenol/etc almost everyday over the smallest thing. They keep exaggerating about the pain level, but I can see medicine being less effective due to the medicinal tolerance now. :sadgreen: |

I have also had these on occasion (though I'm a regular headache/migraine sufferer). I recall about 2 months ago waking from a sound sleep with the most piercing pain in my left temple and in my left eye socket. Since I'm a regular headache/migraine sufferer I reached for the Excederin immediately (which usually does the trick for me).
Didn't even phase this thing. It was debilitating, luckily I don't have these very often. Though, I usually get them right before I go to bed after drinking (hangover before you go to sleep?). |

I suffer from them occasionally, I feel your pain brother. My reccomendations are drink water, and if you have acess to it, 2 liters of lactated ringers or normal saline IV solution, get some electrolytes in you fast and relax you.
And ibuprofen / tylenol, go for Naproxen, thast a damn good drug. Or try excedrin that might help. I find an extremely cold icepack, sucking on ice cubes and a fan running helps too.
Hope ya feel better man, i know how ty it is |

Yeah, I went to bed sober and rested, just had been working and surfing that evening (maybe a bit stressed though). So it came as a complete surprise.
My mom is a pharmacist so she knows her stuff around drugs so I'll leave it up to her to choose if I ever think I need them. :p |

i had migraines forever now until i found myself in the emerg about to put a drill to my head, i also was hooked up to iv for hours until i got para from the meds (which was normal) so i finally went to a neurologist and he's who prescribed me migrainal, didnt ask what kind of headaches they were, just gave migrainal whic like i said helps blood flow, and said to stay away from : smoking, drinking, HAHAHA, fast food, frozen pizza, and excessive pill popping (LOL tylernols and advil)
my advice - ask for migrainal (i love it, just be careful
or 4 advil migraine extra strength 800 mgs all together
or 2 advils 2 tylenols and drink a can of coke and lay down!!!! (this being advice from 1999 lol) does work tho
also i know it sounds silly, but if u are a smoker and experience headaches find urself seom nasal spray, flonase, and etc!!!! use once a day or just plain QUIT!!!
good luck, i friggin hate HEADaches periodddddddddddd |
