well, i used to get caught in this trap of thinking these sorts of products were any good... but the reality is that isolation isn't that hard to achieve. foam is foam.
you could make the same thing out of a piece of mdf and two bits of packaging foam. better yet, if you can find a thin cardboard box slightly bigger than your sub, that will work better than the auralex, probably. the flexability in the cardboard will literally give you complete isolation. |
