| After messing around with Traktor and a mouse (no midi controller even) for over a year, I have taken the plunge and purchased CDJ200's and a DXM06 :). On to beat matching! |

| Thats actually a pretty good starting setup mate! I remember my first setup - stanton str8 100s and a DJM 600 (still use them, but have added a fukload to teh setup - 3rd TT, CDJs, torq w/ laptop...). Its so exciting when you finally get your own kit, hope you enjoy it my man! |

awesome bro!!!! ...i did the same thing :) - started on software (VDJ) then DUMPED IT for "real gear" with mixer/cdjs for 2 years. then 2 years after that i went to vinyl. now i mix my sets with vinyl on one side and cdj on the other - love vinyl!
i added vinyl because (1) i wanted to explore the full dj realm (2) vinyl use is shrinking and (3) i did not want to keep saying "i dont know how to spin vinyl". my philosohpy: i do not want to follow the current wave (mixing software) ...if u can hold beats together using knobs and buttons on actual pieces of equipent with your bare hands, no one can ever take that away from you :) (oh & chicks dig it) |

Congrats :) I've had the DXM06 for a few years and never had any problems with it. Nice mixer for a beginner :)
Now just keep practicing as much as possible :D |
