Coloured SSL Vinyl.. Yay or Nay?!

| Just curious really as to whether people like the Blue/Gold/Red whichever colour you can get them in Time coded Serato Vinyls or if you think they look tacky? |

| Eh, it all depends for me. Depends on where I'm spinning, etc. At my after-hours residency (from 2am to 5am) I really don't care, because I'm the only one who sees my records. But, for example, my Saturday spot, the way the booth is setup, the decks are sort of out in the open, and everyone can see. Could be kinda cheesy, but I love doing themed . For the "Snow" party, I was rocking one red and one green record. |

Only as limited editions i think. Some of the lads on here have them.

and then there's also a green one.
Not 100% sure if they're all official, i know the blues reds and gold ones are.
I ended up getting two blue ones as they didn't have any black ones in the shop i went to.
Honestly, i quite like them :) It's a nice blue, and adds something different to the set up. Not sure if i would have gone with one red one and one blue one if they had had a red one in stock.
But it's unreal how much better they track than the old ones i had. Cueing is a dream now compared to before.
Was going to buy new needles but honestly i don't see a need to any more :) |
