Not surprised. He hammers out the vocals on his radio show as well :p
Was he good at mixing at least?

It was a year and a half ago and I don't even think I made it past an hour into his set.

Can not remember ;\

I totally agree with u about posting up a live set.. radio show or not!

Hey! I'd love to play while I'm in New York! Would never have known I would have a chance to play while on vacation! :o

Here's a link to my set from the Before The Energy Party at Club Poema:

There are probably some radio sets floating around as well.

Thanks :) I was just listening now and overall it sounds pretty good minus Diary of Jane which I've heard way too many times.

Ur right the DJ has the right to play his own productions :p

No offense to you and Carl of course....
To me it doesn't really matter which mix. I am just tired of hearing it but technically the first original is by Breaking Benjamin and it's not EDM. (and yes I'm tired of that one too) There are a very select few of tracks with vocals that actually stand the test of time with me. Is there a non vocal dub to this track?

Besides that the set was good and I would probably go see him and give him a chance.

Yep that's a good one ;)

My criteria usually is

1. The voice has to be pleasant sounding and on point.
2. It can't be too repetative.
3. It has to be EQ'ed properly and sound clear or with cool effects.
4. The lyrics themselves have to be catchy.
5. If it is just a short vocal sample then even better because I can rarely take singing through an entire song. I moreso want to hear the beat and the melody.
