Have to agree Balance 005 is hands down one of the best.

It stands right up there with all the classic GU and Renaissance mix CDs, IMO.

+1
Paradox Lost
005 stands up to successive listens better than essentially everything else in my collection. Whether it's revisiting old moments for nostalgic purposes, or just taking another glimpse at one of the most finely crafted mix comps I've ever come across, 005 has a charm that I've yet to exhaust.

This one? Already got it. :)

It turned my mate into liking this kind of music, so definitely something special. Oshawa is one of my favorites on it.
Mr Game+Watch
Didn't like it at first, apart from a few songs ("Ghetto Server" and "Forme" both being very underappreciated)... but taking a listen in the more contemporary state of dance music makes me realize just how forward thinking and ahead of its time this album was.

I think Balance 005 is much, much better.

Is Balance 005 available for digital purchase somewhere? I just have it in CD format.

yall must be kidding me. I just heard disc 1 so far and that was the most unversatile generic discs Ive heard. every song sounds the same and there's really no huge stand out tracks. all those overrated tracks that I already knew about like you are sleeping, these days etc. those are played out to death and they're just simply overrated. lol so sofar listening to disc 1, it doesnt even hold a candle to the 1994 rennasiance mix. yall are buggin on some chemicals. balance 005 will never ever touch it and I doubt disc 2 will make a difference

Now I'm just starting to wonder if you're even real.

Personal preference is personal preference, but you're still Mattsanity - and that's something we can all agree you will always be.

Repost ;)

I'm glad Balance 005 isn't Holden's sound anymore. I prefer at the Controls far better.

Anyways, the PQM track.. etc are great but it doesnt fit for me as much as Hernan: Perfecto presents South America. That is the first time I heard the track and I will nevar forget.
