i was there a year ago. BEAUTIFUL city...so clean for big city.
and living there cost nothing. the essentials..food and booze are dirt cheap and of the best quality.
ps. ask the locals around town where a tourist can get his hands on quality crystal goods LOL (seriously) anyone whos been there will get the pun. |

Rather cheap.
For example, I've been to Disco Arena, it's nothing too big, but it's fancy... And a pint of Pilsner Urquell cost me a bit over $1.
Can of Branik (low grade beer) costs like $0.35 in stores.

Of course, I want to drink more Becherovka, but gin is my favorite. :)

Haha, well, I've been there and I don't get the pun. :p
Btw, believe it or not, local Prague dealers haven't even heard of magic mushrooms, let alone sell them. That really surprised me. |

^^^ really it wasn't drug related. don't you recall downtown streets that were crystal shop, boutique, crystal shop, jewlery store , crystal shop ?!?!? I'll post pics later when I find mine.
and along your course of thinking...locals in prague proudly claimed it the amsterdam of eastern europe. and mushrooms are a plenty there. after a tip and some plum vodka (as i remember it) waitresses would tell us that many locals grow there own mushrooms...and or pick the wild ones from the forests. And yes...our waitresses verified their claims. ;)
ps. how good was the food !!!!! |
