lol yeah :( At first we were being told it was going to be a 2 hour wait when we got there at 1, which sucked, but there were tons of people and then it started moving slower and slower. We were thinking of leaving, but at every time we were about to go, it slowly advanced so we just said it and at that point we just stayed in line to prove to ourselves we could do it.
That ing BeB security/line guy really pissed me off though, I wanted to ing punch him |

the wantickets booth downstairs was getting heckled NON-STOP. But they couldn't do anything about it either.

hi guys!!!! we got inside at the start of the night ( about 22 pm)
went directly into the trance room chilling before the ferry set!!
insomnia : seriously! no difference between the house room and the tek room during her set!! it was the same music in both room!!
i dont understand why the warm up djs always playing smooth boring music before the peak of the night!!! come on guys!! you are booked in a big event!! enjoy your time and dont waste it playing house music... anywa insomnia 4/10
infected mushroom : those guys are just crazy !!!so fukcing insane to see how much people seemed to enjoy the show!!! music was kinda nice, but not my cup of tea!!! it was sooo soo fast!! but nice anyway!

ferry corsten : holy !!! what a set!!! seriously the best set ive seen in my entire life!!! exactly what i wanted!!! he kicked major asses!!!!!!!!! yeah a lot of classic!! but who ing care! if its good!!, he played also a lot of new and kick ass stuff!!
all the set was good! i enjoyed the full set! and my legs was totally scraped at the end of the set!!! long life to ferry

armin : sorry guys!!! dont know why this guys is the number 1 trance djs over the world!!! every time i saw him im so disapointed!
always 2 hour of so ing slow tek stuff, it turn me off, i went outisde of the room to relax 10 minute after the start of his set ( 2 first traxx was so bad), i stayed outside during all his set!!!wonder if he played a good traxx in the entire set???? yeha he played some nice traxx in the last hour! but .. you got 4 hour!!! play trance for 4 hour!!thats what people want!!!
armin 5/10 biggest deception of the years!! and one of the worst set ever
menno : stayed for about 30 minute only and than i left home! i cant really rate him!! but he dropped some nice trance traxx at the start!!!
overall night 7/10 |

wow, so many mixed reviews and no complete consensus on how djs were, even for the the 2 big ones (Armin & Ferry) Interesting.
wow just the waiting in line would have pissed me the f*ck off.
damns seems like some did not stick around to hear Menno's entire set...they put him in a timeslot that was a bit too late...and im sure most ppl WANTED to hear him throw down. sucks to hear that... |

I don't feel like writing a big review for now...maybe later.
One word : Ferry. Best set of the night, even maybe better than his set at Aria October 2005...when he dropped Eon - Pocket Damage, I went totally nuts. Awesome track, I always liked it and never thought I would hear it live !
It was nice to meet Selma after these years ;)
Menno was very good and Armin too. Armin was sometimes too much techy for me, but he delivered a good show. I stayed for like 35min on Menno's set, and he totally rocked the place. Will see him again for sure... |

i wasn't impressed with victor's set. i'm not the biggest fan of his as is, but imo his set felt more like a warm-up set than a finisher. |

thats how it is man, even during the night, you speak with one person "man the house room is garbage", the next person tells me: "oh my good the house room was amazing".
Offer should not be booked again ever, what a dick, he s around with victor by making him wait, his "body guar" boyfriend makes a fuss with the tech people.... ing lame and unprofessional... divas should die.

I would have left. I thought waiting in line for S&D in December for 1.5 /2 hours was bad enough. Large massives like BeB shouldn't have those kinds of problems. They should be more prepared whatever the reasoning being. :eek:
I am glad there weren't these issues the one and only time I have been. |

I loved it even if i had some bad experiences.
First i gotta say that it was my first time in a massive and i really liked it. Me and my friends all had VIP so we didn't have to wait for long. We went to grab the tickets in the afternoon when we arrived to MTL. So we got there at 10pm and we were inside at 10:30 and just relaxed while Insomnia was playing.
I didn't like much of Insomnia set except the last track wich looked nice.
Then Infected Mushroom started and i really enjoyed it once again. These guys gives a good show even if it's always the same thing. It's pretty fast and intense music and it started the party pretty well.
Ferry Corsten was amazing imo and i enjoyed his set from the begining till the end. System-F was great and people went nuts.
For armin Van Buuren, i can't really say... Sadly we had a problem with what we took inside and we all had a bad moment during 1/2 of his set and we had to relax a bit in VIP room :/... But for the other 1/2 i really liked it.
Then for Menno de Jong, i only stayed for 1 hour because of a friend that had enough of this and really wanted to leave ... :( i really wanted to see his entire set but the first half was amazing!
Overall i was really impress about the BeB and i think VIP is worth it and even more when you count that i refilled my water bottle about 50 times when it would have been 6$ to buy one everytime otherwise... |
