sounds magical/.... i'll try listening to others
Haak
I gave it a listen, and it wasn't bad. Overall I found it a bit boring though. Most of it sounds overpolished and samey. Those 2k8 mixes didn't really do anything other than sound cleaner than the originals.
Sinatra
Only listened to it briefly but from what I heard skipping around it sounded great. I've missed Airwave's music since Trilogique.

He's needs to come to America to promote his album.

This is a great album! Punjabi Child and Sky Blues are my favorite tracks. I really like his style of building up and then introducing a whole new melody that still works with the overall tune.

The album has finally arrived... What can I say? Cd1 is excellent, I'm having a really hard time finding something negative to say about it. The only thing I can think of is that Sunshine In Your Heart climaxes rather abruptly. I prefer the version Laurent posted on his website a few weeks ago.

My favourite tracks are Punjabi Child, Coka's Song and Urban Touareg.

I'll agree with Haak that the second cd does not really anything new to offer, but I'm happy Laurent remained faithful to the originals. Very much liking the Above The Sky & Division Bell remixes. It feels more like a bonus cd though, not really a part of the album which I felt was complete at the end of cd1.

Anyway, some of the best trance I've heard in a while is on this album, so I'm not complaining. :)

IMO this album is really stunning. In the last 2 or 3 years L-vee has been pushing out stuffs that just cannot meet the same level as the old stuffs around 2001. But this album has taken the essence of the good old sound fused with 2007-8 new style which give the tracks more powerful buildup and climax.
And if you feel the whole album altogether sounds a bit boring, then I suggest you should pick tracks to listen one by one as a single. They are beautiful as individual full tracks. Short samples cannot show the true beauty inside.

AIRWAVE DID IT AGAIN:toothless

I'm quite happy with this, all the tracks generally are pretty good, my only complaint is what I would consider unnecessary electro bits in the middle of some of the tracks. Unnecessary and breaks up the flow.

If anyone is looking for a good pure trance 2008 album, get this.

Best track -> Batignolles Blues, ignoring the silly electro bit ;)

Mine arrived a month early. :eyes: :D

I find Planisphere and Antidote-albums better.

What I find annoying here is using certain elements. There are some stupid male voices in the first disc way too much. Also in the end of both CD's there are tracks which are shouting electro-bandwagon. And what isn't maybe not so bad thing is that some of the tracks just stay in the background for the whole time. Too big length isn't helping any.

And with the second CD there are some good tracks but what Save Me 2008 offers that we haven't heard before? It is good piece of music but so was the original.

Notice Of Eviction, Sunday Dark Firma (though it's more like 2 oldies in one package), Coca's Song and Haka For Piece are the best tracks here.

5-6/10

Kind of a letdown... CD1 is good until Coka's Song, then it's "meh", CD2 ain't that bad but Haka For Peace ruins it for me.
Was hoping for a lot more... still, beats the crap out of all the rest of the latest Trance albums.
