Guy ritchie/jason stratham appreciation

Ok. Well as the title thread says, I'm just curious if anyone likes the roles Stratham takes. I feel like some of the movies he has chosen are complete . But then some roles he takes really portrays decent acting. Recently Just saw Revolver, and The Bank Job. Both movies were really well done and his acting was pretty decent in them as well. Curious why he hasn't blown up alittle more. So I guess say what movie you liked him in best and why. If you hate him say why too haha.
Same for Guy Ritchie movies. What made you like it and why. If you hate it then say why too. |

agreed.. the last good role he had was in snatch..
He didnt need to be all gung ho and macho in snatch. Hes natural british wit should be enough to see through a whole movie. American producers/directors dont realise this. |

I like Stratham ever since Snatch. I quite like the Transporter too. I saw clips from The Transporter 2 and it just looks too OTT. Am i right in thinking all of his movies (other than those mentioned) are OTT?

There's no movie in this world that will ever come close to Snatch.
And Jason Statham (along with Vinnie Jones) is my favorite actor.
Btw, Crank rules if you like pure action movies. |

Crank is pretty decent, as said if you like pure action movies. It really good for what it is. Also they are making a second Crank. Stratham is in it. Apparently he survived that helicopter fall lol. Snatch is a classic in my book that will never die. Perfect cast, crew, story line. Great dark comedy.
Bank Job-I expected it to be a dark comedy again. But this time it is just dark, no comedy. But yes he def. makes the movie. Really good film and is based on a true story.
Everyone in here who hasn't seen it go see revolver. It has ty ratings but I think a good percentage here will like it. It's part con/part heist/part metaphysics if that makes any sense. I dont want to talk about it too much because it will give a lot away. Just go see it. |
