Original is gonna be played by me for sure. |
Thanks Michael, pleased to meet you. I'll let the remixers know what you said, I'm sure they will really appreciate it.

Wow the original is ing top notch. No offense but I really didn't except this sort of sound coming from you.
Excellent release, really blown away with this one. |
This is definitely a throwback to the classic tribal influenced Progressive. You old skool proggers know what I'm referring to, the golden days of Lexicon Avenue, Trendroid, Creamer & K, Danny Tenaglia, etc.

none of the samples did anything for me. instantly forgettable like everything else i've heard from darin epsilon.
i love progressive, but this is just bland IMO, sorry. |
Ouch, and to think Kirby was my favorite character from Super Smash Brothers! :( Can you please be more specific what you didn't like exactly? I respect your opinion, but constructive criticism would be much more preferrable. |

i didn't mean my comments in a negative way at all. just saying that i don't feel the tracks at all. somehow it feels that the groove is missing. IMO you gotta have a good groove, a good melody or a really good rhythm in track for it to be good. i haven't found any of these in your tracks (mind you, i haven't heard anything in full, just the samples from beatport).
i was kinda surprised at how they sounded after all the hyping. the music wasn't bad in any way, it's just that i didn't really find anything interesting in it either. :) |

Beatport really does no justice at all to the music, the low end is where that groove comes from and it just won't resonate on a lo-fi sample from Beatport, or on regular PC speakers for that matter. Anyways, thanks for chiming in and letting me know how you feel. |

it's kinda hard to hear how your stuff really sounds like then, without illegally downloading it before buying.
and i've never used crappy pc speakers for anything. ;) |

| I only now got around listening to this, and I must say that I'm pretty impressed with what I've heard. The original is simply great, I really like the groove it's got going on and the massive drive the percussion gives the whole. The remixpackage is quite strong as well. Jairus Miller remix is nice, although a bit too fast for my taste (but I guess that's why they invented pitch control, right? :D ), but the one that really did it for me is the Noosh & Girard mix. Gorgeous tune! Section 75's remix is very tight as well, so that makes this an extraordinary package. It's just so good I can't decide which mix I'll be using in my next mix :nervous: ;) |

I have plenty of stories to share when I get back. It's been a really strange conference this year, to say the least. |
