Surprisingly I didn't care much at all for Fanciulli's mix. I thought it would be really awesome and exciting and it was just sort of long drawn out techno that wasn't any fun :( Gui Boratto's mix is superb, a fantastic modern take of a great track :D Sennh's is really great too, nice little package here. |

I always liked the original of this and am glad its finally available digitally as it saves me buying old vinyl.
So the original will be bought.
Sadly, as is commonplace, the 200x updates are rubbish. A sickeningly boring combination of minimal and electro without a deep dark prog remix that would make it worthwhile. I really dont see what the fuss is with the KE2008 remix either, its just a slightly slowed down version of the original with a fade in on the breakdown and a couple of tweaks that take the energy out.

Nothing in this release is minimal, but terrific job perpetuating the worst misnomer that has plagued the electronic music community for the past two to three years (both, actually).
And I don't think it gets much deeper or darker than Boratto's mix. |
