veneers vs. braces

| I have pretty good teeth, but have a couple of spaces that I've always wanted to have fixed. I'm considering both options, but want to hear some personal experience/opinions of both methods before I select one. |

i think veneers address tooth discoloring as well which is much of the reason people choose that. Braces otherwise seem the best route unless you're too old or can't get subtle-colored ones or something.
Invisalign i've heard mixed reviews. |

Cause from what I've heard, veneers really your teeth. Like, they have to scrape down your enamel to put veneers on...and veneers are not as strong as real enamel.
So I guess they're great from a cosmetic standpoint, but for the long term, they suck.
This could all be bull of course...I can't even remember where I heard this.
Still...if it were me, I'd definitely go for braces over veneers. |

i don't think this happens all the time but this girl on America's Top Model got veneers. (She had banged up teeth.) They drilled her teeth into tiny triangles.
It was so nasty and a 2 day process so she was crying the first night. Of course the veneers looked beautiful but can you imagine if your natural teeth get drilled like that.

-What you can do and what I plan to do one day... is get braces *again*. I lost my bottom retainer so my bottom teeth went back to the old way. [I know stupid me] I plan on either getting invisilign or if its a huge difference in price, you can always get braces on the inside of ur mouth so ur not showing a full metal mouth. |
