I dunno mang - surely it's fair to expect decent and honest advice when your spending a hell of a lot of money on something you don't know much about??
When i worked in selling home theatre stuff I refused to sell something based on anything other than a combination of what was the best product for their budget and what were their needs. I don't think it's too much to ask that you'd get the same service with Dj gear. |

I dunno man. Having worked in retail (though not specifically in sales) and being a computer enthusiast has taught me that most salesman know fvck all about the products they are trying to sell you and will generally be satisfied with sending you away with anything.
Yeah, it should be different but for the most part it isnt, and people should know this!

Dude - that is the consequence of the "what is the lowest fvckin price" mentality people have these days.
People have stopped buying from sales people who REALLY know their stuff and provide good service preferring to buy from a dip with a product that's $10 cheaper.
Eventually sales people get over wasting their time when all customers want is the lowest price. |
