Lets discuss VL!
My friend just introduced me to him a couple days ago with the tune Funk and Droid. Did some digging and really love everything he's done.
Picked up a couple albums and really enjoy the wide variety of well-produced and interesting genres in them.
really liking Melodies and Memory atm. |

Tasty cereal.
Edit: In all seriousness though - this is quite nice - I hadn't really heard anything from them before. |

Unbelievable, after a few years, i listened to his first two albums today and now i see this thread. This is synchronicity.
What i liked in this sound was the interplay between robotic/electo elements with warm/emotional melodies. Vector Lovers appeared in the era of "electro-clash" revolution (2002-03 if i remember), but in contrast to his mindless and souless peers of that era, he managed to create some very emotional and honest music. I love his retro-futuristic utopic melodies, they are indeed a candy to the ear. Absolutely recommending this simple and astonishing techno/electro sound. |

Been bumming M&M again since its appearance on Sci-Fi Hi-Fi 4.
Lovely track - a bit of a twat to mix unless you're just going to ram it home, but yeah - Vector Lovers FTW. |
