huh, never knew that..

There are a couple of vinyl releases that cite a "Gabriel & Dresden remix" in the tracklisting, though I'm not sure if they're talking about the unplugged mix they did.

Anyway, I think the official track title reads "Markus Schulz feat. Departure with Gabriel & Dresden- Without You Near"

Quite a mouthful for a stand-alone title, and is especially so with this remix title:

Markus Schulz feat. Departure with Gabriel & Dresden- Without You Near (Alex M.O.R.P.H's Sacred Light remix). :stongue:

It clearly states "Gabriel & Dresden Mix"

Well, I liked them a couple years ago, but recently the sets were a bit blah. Maybe they were bored with working together, who knows. The pix of them always looked so sad. So, either they will go different ways and work harder to get back to where they were, or move on to other things.

Lots of great tracks in the 2001-2003 days but the newer breed of stuff (I guess ever since Tracking Treasure Down) just wasn't that great... Saw them spin at Pacha last October and it was one of the most boring sets I've ever heard, they did not know how to build momentum at all, the second they started looking like they were going somewhere and building up, they'd bring things down with dull as minimal.

Great news!

when i first heard their essential mix from 2003 i loved it but i heard it the other day and i noticed how dull it was..

i met them the first time they played at space and dave dresden looked drunk as f*ck!!.josh gabriel was the kool one ..not too drunk lol

then last year after armin at pawnshop they were setting up and i siad whats up to them and DD looked f*cked up again.. i told them i hadnt seen them since 04 and Dresden said "were much better". and i thought to myself...i dont think so

drugs and alcohol usually strain musical relationships.

I think the '03 EM is great, especially with the unreleased version of "Alive." (that was quite the controversy back in the day).
