The Worst Case Scenario Mix

Hey There. If you dont klnow about it already. This is going to be a thread for all the folks out there who plan on making a Worst Case Scenario Mix.
If anyone else reads and wants to get involved...
You need to put your respective Mp3 or pc playlist on shuffle and then use the first 5,10,15 tracks in a mix in that order.
Possibly post a little youtube of you shuffling through the tracks.

heh.. i found this thread looking for something else.
sounded a novel idea so i tried it out & have been throwing the result down in ableton over the past hour. it actually turned out surprisingly coherent;
the green martian - industry
andy blueman - nyctalopia (will b remix edit)
blank & jones - stars shine bright (sam sharp remix)
miika kuisma & kenjido okiru - basscore (dallas superstars remix)
coldware - invert (cold mix)
nalin & kane - beachball
carl b - social suicide (parc remix)
airforce & samuelzone - snowflake
recluse - emotional void
activa - reflection (marcos remix) (re-edit)
overall time: 40 mins
managed 2 fluke harmonic matches & there's almost *gasp* some structure in there. you could probably get away with it in a club
alas i have no means of capturing video so you'll have to believe as to its authenticy :thepirate

heh, i guess i cheated in that i have all my mixable dance tunes in seperate folders to general stuff, and only chose from the former.
i'd love to hear that set btw :p |

Well, here it is:

It's only about 37 minutes long. I had to recruit my musically-talented friend to help me work out the BPM of the stuff that wasn't in 4/4, so I gave him credit for his help. That's easily the weirdest mix I've ever made, both to put together and to listen to. |
