i have a sony 7.2 cybershot and to me it takes dope videos
madd crisp sound but i agree the regular photos are not as good as a canon
theres been alot of new cybershots comming out tho like better megapixels and so maybe the new sonys do take better photos

last time i checked.....slr's don't take videos. uffff

I actually wanted to know this as well. I would really like to take vids at clubs....I think canons suck for taking videos cause they distort the sound way too much. I dont know about othe rones

Somebody posted awesome vids from armin, i dont remember who, but i remember the vid were ing great

i think when taking videos it is important, if the camera allows it, to lower the input volume on the mic to keep the audio from peaking and turning to mush.

I use Nikon.

check my videos here most of the recent ones are shot with an old Nikon L3. I'd assume their video image quality is better in more recent models.

For videos get The Flip. http://www.puredigitalinc.com/index.html It's cheap, easy to use and takes high quality video. ~$150. I have the Flip Ultra. Takes great low light vids.

Looks nice but I'd rather have something that takes pics AND video's in one.
