there is nothing else to do in Frankfurt apart from Cocoon.
I was silly/unfortunate enough to have 3 days there mid-week before going up to the Ring. Worst 3 days of my trip, so ing boring. the first day I explored the city which took about 1/2 a day, the second day i did some clothes washing, the third I went exploring the towns around Frankfurt (Fulda, Weissbaden, Mainz).
A friend made the same mistake a few years ago and said exactly the same thing (after i got back of course :rolleyes: ) that theres just nothing to do there.
I even went to the Modern Art Museum and I hate modern art, it was .
Sorry, every time Frankfurt comes up I have to say how much i disliked my visit there. That was midweek though so there was no nightlife either. |

There's a great techno club in Frankfurt called U60311 which is in an old metro station underground.
Not sure if it's open earlier in the week (don't think so) but it's a great venue.
Reminds me a lot of System but with way way way better sound (zee Germans don't do half-assed sound) |

No ?! When was it recorded?
I had no idea that Ferry had played there (or any trance had been played there). I always thought it was a predominantly techno club (not like it should really matter at all.
We saw Gayle San, Eric Sneo and DJ Murphy play there one night and it was great. |
