Awesome boat, perfect weather, terrific music, amazing crowd, free food, open bar.... um, couldn't really ask for more from this party. Everybody I met was really cool, which just added soo much to the experience. I imagined beforehand that it would be easy for people to be a little pretentious at a get together of this nature, but it turned out to be just the opposite. The music flowed perfectly throughout the entire trip. Very downtempo at the beginning followed by a nice progressive buildup, and by the time the sun had set, it was in full party mode.
I almost missed out on the food because I couldn't tear myself away from the deck. Glad I finally did for a few minutes because it was definitely worth it and no doubt helped me out the rest of the evening. Went to the restroom once during the whole trip and it cost me about 45 minutes i believe:whip: . Oh well, I guess there's not much that can be done about that situation in such a confined space.
A lot of funny random moments including a guy who was working on one of the really nice houses we passed. He was painting or something on top of a ladder and, when he heard us go by, he turned around and started dancing on one leg on the ladder:haha: He was cheering us on and vice versa. Same thing with some of the people hanging out on high rise balconies.
The whole experience was surreal and definitely made my decision to go to this instead of the Tiki that much better. I am sure SOS ripped it up on that boat, but I still wouldn't trade this party for much of anything. I would like to give a special thanks to Heather (copahc) for the ticket, which gave me the opportunity to meet her as well as all the others who were so gracious aboard the yacht. This definitely includes the staff, who have to be some of the nicest people in all of Miami.

the 2nd track coming in during the sasha opener vid is Francesco Tristano-The Melody(Francesco Tristao Mix)
beautiful piano riff in that song. I can't believe he played that. that would have sounded amazing on the boat.

He also played it @ Fac51

This is just speculation, but I overheard a cab driver talking about a $500 reward for some stolen DJ equipment. Coincidence Sasha wasn't using the Maven at this or at Mansion? Anyone hear anything?

No, it's actually just busted really bad. It was taken out during his Mansion gig, but it couldn't start to work.

I think it might have been the beatless remix into the Balil remix...
