| Well, I haven't used light fluid before for vinyl, but I do lighter fluid is more potent then alcohol. It really deep cleans it. Where alcohol can't dissolve oils..lighter fluid can. |

Ahhh...I decided to sell my record collection..so I think I am going to invest in the Gruv Glide because I have an awesome collection and they deserve the best cleaning out there |

don't clean your records with gruv glide if you're going to sell them. gruv glide doesn't evaporate from the record. it forms a layer on it and not everyone wants that on their records (at least i don't).
seriously, the best way to clean them is a vacuum cleaner, but it's not that cheap. |

I see...that's pretty slick vacuum...I also seen this rubber wheel on eBay and the rubber is sticky and rolls across the grooves and picks up all dust and dirty...thanx for the info |

i've heard that those are good as well, but don't really get the stuff that's inside the grooves out. |

| Is a carbon fiber brush not enough? If you treat them with care the only thing that should be on them is dust am I right? |

you sre correct, just dirt and dust but my older records have some small and some even have deeper surface scratches that effects the way they play..alcohol wont fix that but I thout gruv glid might...but for the most part only a few records had a pop or a crackling in then because I learned to take better care of them, then I did 6 years ago when I was all clumsy with my vinyl :whip: |

| All u need to use is some DRY Swiffer brand dust rags from the grocery store. I've tried all the rest and they work the best. if u need to get something spilled on it off, just use lighter fluid and a swiffer. |
