| when i make a cd, i use notepad to formulate the artist/title etc. in a .cue sheet. It all pops up fine on my car deck, but when playing the cd back in media player, it says unknown artist, with track 1, track 2 etc. any ideas why that is? |

| you have to edit the id3 tag within each actual mp3, can easily be done in winamp by double clicking the track title... either that, or use eags on - very good program for mass reorganization of tags/filenames. |

im pretty sure when you burn an audio cd with a cuesheet, it is burned as CDA (compact disc audio). id3 tags are for mp3 only and do not affect WAV or CDA.
as for your problem with media player, i have absolutely no idea. |

| Anybody know how to get ID3 tags to transfer to the CDA in Nero so that the Artist/Track appears on the Pioneer CDJs? |

Yup.
When you burn your CD, make sure you can enter "CD text" for the artist/track info. Only problem is that I don't think media player recognizes CD text like a car deck. It was created with the assumption that you are playing real CDs, and that it can retrieve the info of the net, so it does not need to read CD text.
Very few computer media players recognize CD text so I believe you are out of luck. It was standard developed for stand alone players like in a car. |
