No, technically speaking it does nothing for signal strength, totally unrelated. However, lots of wireless hotspots have some form of management interfact that will prioritize trafic flow. Renewing your IP will more than likely just grant you a different authentication token; pretty much the same as disconnecting and then reconnecting the connection.

Nah, just saw IBM's announcement, and decided to check it out. Pretty neat software package. Good contender for openoffice.

it is based on OO code base, and ibm is modifying it to better integrate with Notes 8 client and domino applications

very promising!

Uninstall all that Adobe Acrobat crap you've got and use this. It actually doesn't crash or suck up hundreds of MB of memory, unlike the aforementioned Adobe product.
