I tried to tell my fiance that I had heard on the radio that Paul Maurice had been fired and there was a huge news conference this aft....he's a hockey nut so this would have been good if I had not FAILED!

My coworker who is in a broken relationship has a crush on one of our client's employees ( I work in a consulting firm that hosts training sessions at our facility).
We always bug her about him, and she blushes and gets all giddy. He's a Mexican guy around her age. This has been going on for like 6 weeks now, the puppy love kind of makes me sick so I ed with her today lol.
She asked if he had called about training. Then the lighbulb went off...I told her "no, but so and so called on his behalf, you know the HR Manager, sorry i forgot to tell you first thing this morning, but you need to call her back and get a new representative from her company because he's been deported"
Her face dropped, and was like "OMG, NOOO, NOOO WAY...I always seem to pick the losers"
With tears almost in her eyes I say "well you can't judge a book by its cover, I mean he seemed like a cool guy, he may have been a criminal, a rapist...who knows?!?!"
I suggested she call the HR again, to validify my lie. I went to grab a coffee and as I come in she mustered up the courage to call...I was waiting to break the news to her as she reached the automated menu to enter the HR's extension...only to my surprise my co-worker had the HR's direct line...
At that i almost spewed my coffee all over my shirt, and i managed to gargle out "NO, NO!!! APRIL FOOLS" well motioning a huge "X" over and over with my arms...
She caught on, then basically stuttered the whole conversation when the HR picked up, and said she was calling to confirm some bull.
The rest of the day I shared the story with mailmen,cinta's guys, Tech Guys, My HR...basically whoever i could get within hearing range of her desk!!!

Did my part for being part of a prank on a board that I help to moderate. The site owner claimed to be hit by a trojan replacing words with random gibberish. Some people did fall for it.
I may be subject of a prank. Heavy rumours that Toronto FC is closing on signing on Laurent Robert (plus couple of other players) but I don't know if this is true or not. |

| 2 coworkers moved another coworkers car across the street and she thought it was stolen. we finally had to tell her it wasn't when she started to call the police. |
